Obituary for John Mason Jr.
John Mason Jr., 85, of Willoughby, passed away Dec. 30, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital.
Born Jan. 28, 1935, in Johnstown, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for 33 years.
John was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of V.F.W. Post 1500 in Willoughby, American Legion and Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300.
He was the loving father of James G. Mason of Willoughby, Joy Mason of Columbus and John (Laura) Mason of Cleveland; brother of Alice Schaefer; and grandfather of many.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Jane (nee Bieranowski); parents, John Sr., and Belva (nee Culp) Mason; and sister, Hazel.
Services will be private.
