Joel D. Liposky, 53, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at Euclid Hospital.
He was born Feb. 26, 1967, in McKeesport, Pa.
Joel was a happy, funny guy, who brought laughter wherever he went. He enjoyed sports and played both basketball and football in high school. His hobbies included fly fishing, hunting and golf, and was a skilled tradesman in plumbing for many years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelley A. (nee Ferrara) Liposky; children, Andrew M. and Amanda M. Liposky; stepdaughter, Ashley M. (Kevin) Herman; granddaughter, Juliana; siblings, Donna L. (Joseph) Basile and Barbara L. Cutler; many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Cookie and Dick Moyers, Karen Belt and Frankie Paugh; and several cousins. He also leaves his American Bulldog, Gunner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis E. and Dorothy Y. (nee Paugh) Liposky; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 3:30 p.m.
