Obituary for Joan Angela Faudree
Funeral Mass for Joan Angela (nee Truden) Faudree, 79, of Mentor, will be 12 noon Friday at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Father Tim Plavac will officiate.
Joan passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at Danbury of Mentor.
Born Jan. 23, 1943, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 30 years.
Joan was a member of St. Bede the Venerable Church, where she was active in helping with the Food Bank, Funeral Brunch and R.C.I.A. Program. She was also a member of S.N.P.J. and Irish American Club-East Side Inc. in Euclid.
She was the beloved wife of 41 years to Clifford T. Faudree; loving mother of Suzanne E. Mihalek (Scott Stearns); cherished grandmother of Jessi Mihalek and Shannon Mihalek; and great-grandmother of Jaxon Mihalek.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Angela (nee Stafe) Truden.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass Friday at the church. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
