Obituary for Jay Lee Saleck
Jay Lee (nee Rider) Saleck, 79, of Chardon, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at Heather Hill Assisted Living.
Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Painesville, she had been a resident of Geauga County for 55 years.
Jay was a member of the Geauga Walkers, loved crafts, enjoyed traveling and gardening, and loved her animals.
She was the loving mother of Rex R. Saleck and Lyn J. Saleck; and dear sister of Ramona.
Jay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Greg Saleck in 2013; and parents, William and LaVerne (nee Rettig) Rider.
Burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, at a later date.
