Obituary for Janet Mae Kulas

Funeral Mass for Janet Mae (nee Rudis) Kulas, 82, of Eastlake, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35711 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Father Kevin Liebhardt will officiate the Mass.
Janet passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her residence in Eastlake.
Born Jan. 5, 1940, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 60 years.
She was a member of St. Justin Martyr Church, loved her granddaughter dearly and she was her “Sunshine.” She also enjoyed sports, especially the Cleveland Indians.
Mrs. Kulas had for worked many years at Kmart in Eastlake before then going to work part-time at Target in Willoughby prior to her retirement.
Janet was the loving mother of Kenneth W. Kulas, Jacqueline M. “Jackie” McDonnell, and Daniel R. Kulas; cherished grandmother of Jessica L. Kulas; sister of Alan (Beverly) Rudis; sister-in-law of Donald (Mary) Kulas, and Bill Kulas; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Kulas in 1998; and parents, Frank and Margaret (nee Stanislaus) Rudis.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
