Obituary for James R Prayner

Funeral Mass for James R. Prayner, 78, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Father Steve Breck will officiate. (Family and friends are asked to meet at church.)
James passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at his residence.
He was born July 29, 1942, in Cleveland.
Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran and was very patriotic. His greatest passion was his children and grandchildren, always being there for them. James’ love of golf and shooting pool, brought him much enjoyment.
James was the beloved husband of Cathy (nee Karns); loving father of Jeff (Maria) and Eric (Karen); cherished grandfather of Allison, Emily, Sarah, Nicholas, and Isabelle; dear brother of Chris Weber and Lori Gentile; brother-in-law of Jim Karns, Dan and Diane Karns; and loving uncle of Nick, Amanda, and other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KA 66675, or to the charity of your choice.
