Obituary for Henry B Simmons
Henry B. Simmons, 93, of Eastlake, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022, at his residence.
Born Jan. 1, 1929, in Big Springs, W.Va., he had been a resident of Lake County for 64 years.
Henry was a U.S. Army veteran, loved the horses and working in the yard, especially gardening. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
He was the loving father of Gerald A. “Jerry” (Moya) Simmons, Dennis B. Simmons and Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Simmons; cherished grandfather of Jerry, Ryan, Samantha, Briana, Paige, Hunter and Hailey; great-grandfather of Kyle, Antoinette, Mila, Rocco, Landon, KJ, Ryan and McKella; brother of 15; and uncle of many.
Henry was preceded in death by his former wife, Delores Perdue; and parents, Willie and Ina (nee Richards) Simmons.
Private services will be held.
