Obituary for Helen Thompson
Helen Thompson of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Fairmount Health Care Center in Willoughby.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a lifelong Cleveland area resident.
Helen was the loving mother of Alfred W. (Marcia) Thompson and Gregory B. (Pat) Thompson; cherished grandmother of Sharon, Jill, Jeff, Julie and Amy; great-grandmother of Jeremy, Katie, Kristin, Michael, Matthew, Jordan, Emily, Drew, Zach and Ali; and aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred C. Thompson in 1982; parents, Stanislaw and Katherine (nee Wegrzmowicz) Kupiec; and siblings, Irene, Jean, Esther and Edward.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions in her name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the charity of your choice.
