Obituary for Harry M Woolhouse
Harry M. Woolhouse, 90, of Mentor, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at UH TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born Nov. 24, 1931, in Albany, N.Y., he had been a resident of Lake County for more than 50 years.
Harry was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the ORCO Gun Club in Geneva. He loved reloading and gun shooting and had been a member of the National Shooting team in his younger years. He was also a member of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club for more than 40 years and the Rod and Reel Club of Grand River. Harry loved fishing and boating.
Mr. Woolhouse retired after many years in retail sales.
Harry was the beloved husband of 65 years to Barbara A. (nee Chesebro) Woolhouse; and loving father of Scott C. (Betty) Woolhouse and Kevin A. Woolhouse.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harry M. Woolhouse Jr.; and parents, Harry C. Sr. and Mildred (nee Warner) Woolhouse.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
