Obituary for Harold T "Skip" Zabish

Harold T. “Skip” Zabish, 83, of Wickliffe, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born July 16, 1939, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 44 years.
Skip enjoyed bowling and drag racing.
He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Sandra J. (nee Larabee) Zabish; cousin of Dolores Staley; brother-in-law of Kenneth D. Larabee, Tom Larabee (Denise Rakar), Ralph McElwain and Kenneth (Barb) Riley; and uncle of Kenneth (Amber) Larabee. He also leaves many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Skip was preceded in death by his parents, August and Dorothy (nee Michaels) Zabish; and sister-in-law, Janet McElwain.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24. Burial will follow the service at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
