Obituary for Harold W "Bill" Lemmons

Harold W. “Bill” Lemmons, 76, of Eastlake, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at Carrington Park in Ashtabula.
Born Nov. 12, 1945, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 45 years.
Bill was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of V.F.W. Post 3863 in Eastlake. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and trips to Kelly’s Island.
Bill was the beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia M. (nee Hull) Lemmons; loving father of Danielle M. (Tom) Slapnicker and Dezarae M. (Bill) Slapnicker; cherished grandfather of Dakota, Karly, Shyann and Kiera; brother of Betty Ann (Bob) Kovach; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold A. and Betty Jean (nee Johnson) Lemmons; and brother, Robert Lemmons.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at V.F.W. Post 3863, 33641 Vine St., Eastlake, where a Celebration of Life service with Military Honors will be conducted at 4 p.m. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township will be held at a later date.
