Obituary for Gregory Anthony Makar
Funeral Mass for Gregory Anthony Makar, 63, of Willowick, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Father Steve Breck will officiate.
Gregory passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born March 9, 1959, in Cleveland.
Gregory enjoyed golfing, was funny and quick witted and was extremely proud of his grandchildren.
He was the loving father of Michael J. (Katie) Makar, Drew G. (Emily) Makar, and Kristin L. (Kevin) Igarashi; cherished grandfather of Jack, Grayson, Abby, Harry, Grace, Madeline, Liam and Benjamin; dear son of Jane (nee Rigot) Makar; brother of Mary (John) Husek and Pat (Jim) Lubinsky; and the uncle of many.
Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
