Obituary for Grace K Alfieri
Grace K. (nee Gayer) Alfieri, 80, a longtime resident of Willoughby, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 2, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Grace was born May 11, 1941.
Grace fiercely loved her family and spending time with her love, Frankie. They enjoyed family cookouts, taking road trips, shopping and snuggling with their two dogs, Izzy and Zoe. Grace was the heart and backbone of the family, always smiling, spreading love and positivity.
She was the devoted mother of Richard Alfieri, Mike (Connie) Alfieri, Mark (Amanda) Alfieri; stepmother of Dennis (Vicki) Hager and Andrea (Jerry) Stray; cherished grandmother of Joanna Hamilton, Marisa (David) Keene, Cassandra (Joe) Park, Gia Alfieri, Michael (Aubrey) Alfieri, Angelo Alfieri, Jenna Alfieri, AJ (Nicole) Alfieri, Chanda (Dan) Mullen, Gary Brennen, Zak Beltowski, Courtney (Dan) DiMatteo, and Danielle Hager; and adoring great-grandmother of Hannah, Liam, Joey, Liliana, Cameron, Arlo, Sebastian, Gianessa, Gabrielle and Rowan.
Grace was preceded in death by her loving companion, Frank Hager; late husband, Richard Alfieri; parents, Ted and Sadie (O’Neill) Suleski; daughter, Denise (Alfieri) Keene; and grandson, Michael Keene.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
