Geraldine “Geri” (nee Seach) Rose, passed away March 5, 2021.
Geri was born in Cleveland in 1945, and graduated from Ursuline Academy of the Sacred Heart. She had worked at General Electric for 20 years and another 20 years with Lakeland Community College.
Geri loved singing in the church choir, visiting with friends, and shopping a good sale. She loved Cleveland and family vacations to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. But her deepest love and pride was for her family and friends: her two children, Alison and Andrew, granddaughter Pearl, and new grandson Teddy. Her loving family will always honor and cherish her memory.
She was the beloved wife of 39 years to the late William J. “Bill”; loving mother of Alison (Jeff Prosek), and Andrew (Codi Lamb); cherished grandmother of Pearl and Teddy; dear sister of Joseph (Eleanor) Seach; sister-in-law of Robert (Sue), Margaret “Meg” (Michael McGonegal), Patrick (dec.), Tim (Lisa) and Tom; and cousin, friend and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Michael Troha will officiate. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family will receive friends at McMAHON-COYNE-VITANTONIO FUNERAL HOME, 38001 EUCLID AVE WILLOUGHBY FROM 4 TO 7 PM MONDAY.
