Obituary for Gerald M "Jerry" Renwick

Gerald M. “Jerry” Renwick, 82, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Regency Hospital East in Warrensville Heights.
Born July 5, 1939, in Uniontown, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for 57 years, living in Eastlake before moving to Mentor.
Jerry loved motorcycles, hot rods, drag racing, the outdoors and camping.
Mr. Renwick was a member of Ironworkers Local 17 and retired from General Motors.
Jerry was the loving father of Steve (Teresa) Kwietkowski, Jerry M. Renwick, John W. (Cassie) Renwick, Tammy L. Blenman, Scott E. Blenman, and Tracy L. Blenman; cherished grandfather of Cherise, Amanda, Kristy, Scott, Rebeka, John, Randall, and Elaine; brother of James Edward “Mickey” (Mary) Renwick and Rebecca Jane (Tom) Sagle; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife, Janet (nee Coon) Renwick.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara L. (nee Stevens, Blenman) Renwick; and parents, Maxwell and Lyndall G. (nee Brannon) Renwick.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow the service in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
