Obituary for Fred J Fink
Funeral Mass for Fred J. Fink, 65, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Fred passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at The Cleveland Clinic.
Born July 5, 1956, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Willoughby for 44 years.
Fred enjoyed traveling, camping, motorcycle trips, golfing, and was a lifelong Browns fan. Family was most important to him and loved being a grandpa!
Mr. Fink was a retired railroader from CSX, was a labor leader, and a proud member of the Transport Workers Union (TWU) for more than 40 years.
Fred was the beloved husband of 44 years to Diane M. (nee Herris) Fink; loving father of John F. Fink, James F. (Meghan) Fink and Jeff F. (C.J.) Fink; cherished grandfather of Addie, Colten, Grant, Emmitt, Eleanor, Eli and Margaret; dear brother of Fran (David) Brodowski and Michael (Dawn) Fink; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Marilyn (nee Arbter) Fink.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery.
