Private family services were held for Ernest J. Sweigert, 77, of Concord Township.
Ernest passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at The Cleveland Clinic.
Born Sept. 7, 1944, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Cuyahoga County resident.
Ernest loved sports.
He was the loving father of Joe Sweigert, Eric (Christa) Sweigert and Jill (Chuck) Kandrac; cherished grandfather of Michael, Patrick, Tristan, Brody, Nicholas and Christopher; great-grandfather of Jackson and Charlie; dear brother of Dan (Cynthia) Sweigert; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Joseph and Jane Emma (nee Phillis) Sweigert.
Burial was at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
