Deb and Terre, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your Mom’s cheerfulness, not only from years ago in Willowick but also from a few visits that she made to Columbus with Natalie Latek. She was such a gracious person.

I was deeply saddened to read of Mrs. Lovsin's passing. She was the first grade teacher for one of my twin daughters more than 40 years ago. Sometime during that school year my wife required surgery and a hospital stay leaving this poor young clueless father to manage the house and two small daughters for a few days. Learning of this, Mrs. Lovsin sent a hand-written note home to me with my daughter, assuring me that my wife would be OK and not to worry about my daughter because "while her Mom is in the hospital, I will give her some extra attention". I treasure that note to this day. I believe that it probably accurately exemplified how she lived her life 24/7. I wanted you to be aware of this. God bless her.

Deb, Jeff, Alyssa, Terre, Mark, and Benjamin,
I am so sorry for your loss of Bette! She was such a kind, gracious woman who made the world a sweeter place!! She always provided a kind word and a generous gesture. I was proud to be her colleague and her friend at Richmond
Hts. Elementary. She blessed a lot of children and staff memebrs over the years. We all will miss her!! She was an angel!!

Most of my childhood memories include fun family times with Aunt Bette and Uncle Tony, my godparents. How fortunate I was to be loved by them - both caring, and genuinely kind people. I miss you both.

I must agree with Pat's comments; Aunt Bette & Uncle Tony were indeed an integral & welcome part of our family growing up.
