Edward Michael Guminiak Sr., 59, of Cleveland, passed away April 20, 2021, at his residence.
Born Dec. 19, 1961, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga County.
He loved all sports, was super gregarious, very generous and always made friends. Edward was a clean freak, loved Steak-n-Shake, like cars a lot, and was always up for a good time.
Edward was the loving father of Michael V. Rizer of Lyndhurst and Edward M. Guminiak Jr. of Concord Township; cherished grandfather of Joseph James Rizer; brother of Susan Guminiak and Terri Guminiak; uncle of Matthew and Brian Guminiak; and dear friend of Cloreno and Claudio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bertha (nee Peters) Guminiak; and sisters, Lynn Ann Guminiak and Dodi Guminiak.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a service will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family.
