Obituary for Edward R Canale

Funeral Mass for Edward R. Canale, 66, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Edward passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 6, 1956, in Euclid, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
He was a 1975 graduate of Willoughby South High School. He had a passion for his family and music, having played and taught guitar, was a member of the Canale Brothers Band, and had even opened up for some big artists such as George Strait, Juice Newton and the Oak Ridge Boys. His brother, Ray was the drummer and they both sang vocals. Edward also enjoyed coaching softball for his daughters, loved to golf and fish, and was a proud Papa, husband, father, son, friend, brother and uncle. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the all the love and support given to them and Edward during this difficult time.
Edward was the beloved husband of 43 years to Lynn M. (nee Green) Canale; loving father of Jennifer L. (Nick) Fabian of Mentor, Amy M. (Nick) Aquila of Chesterland and Heather A. (Matthew) Yarmock of Eastlake; cherished grandfather of Savannah, Mia, Sophia, Matthew, Jackson, Emma, Nicky and Arianna; son of Raymond Edward (Patricia) Canale; dear brother of Colleen F. (Richard) Canale-Reilly, Ronald M. Canale (Robin Hajes), Raymond L. (Kathy) Canale and Mary I. (S.J.) Canale-Sanders; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Theresa (nee Reardon) Canale.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
