Obituary for Donald Lewis Pepp

“Together Again”
Funeral Mass for Donald Lewis Pepp, 86, of Perry, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. Father George Kusy will officiate.
Don passed away and was re-united with his wife Jean on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Watertown, N.Y.
Don was a U.S. Army veteran and member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry. He was also a member of the Lake/Geauga Serra Club, which is a Catholic organization that supports religious vocations and a longtime member of the Perry Kiwanis Club. Don enjoyed gardening, was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan, and loved golf and bowling. He loved life, and his Catholic faith and family were his most precious possessions.
Mr. Pepp retired from Bailey Controls in Wickliffe after 35 years, where he had served as an International Project Manager. For years, Don had also worked at the Perry Food Distribution Center, which offered food to the less fortunate families in the area.
He was the loving father of Anne L. Pepp (Stephen Tressler), Thomas D. Pepp, Michael J. (Mary) Pepp and James A. Pepp; cherished grandfather of Nicole M. (Brian) Lewis, Anthony M. Glista, Jessica R. Glista, Kayla E. Pepp, Abigail A. Pepp, Autumn M. Pepp and George W. Morris; great-grandfather of Natalie Lewis, Bria Lewis, Kieran Glista, Osias Coulter and Atticus Coulter; dear brother of John Pepp and Carole White; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean Margaret (nee Quigley) Pepp in May 2012; parents, Lewis and Alice Roberta (nee Scott) Pepp; sister-in-law, Kathy Pepp; and brother-in-law, Paul White.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
