Donald Chester “Big Don” Cichon, 57, of Wickliffe, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at UH Richmond Heights Hospital.
Born Aug. 7, 1963, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Don was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3164 in Euclid. He loved people, was a true jokester, and was a big guy with a big heart. Bigger than life itself.
He was the loving father of Matthew D. (Jesalina) Cichon and Elizabeth Inghram-Hannold; stepfather of Michael Cook, Dan Cook and Katie Cook; grandfather of Christian M. Cichon; brother of Donna (Robert) Bezoski, Christopher (Diana) Cichon, and Cheryl (Barry) Lane; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas J. Cichon; parents, Chester and Dolores (nee Mandato) Cichon; and sister, Diane Cichon.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30 p.m.
