Obituary for Dolores V Distler

Dolores V. (nee Ciborek) Distler, 88, of Willowick, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021, at her residence.
Born Nov. 7, 1932, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 57 years, living in Wickliffe and Willoughby before moving to Willowick.
She was an artist on canvas, “but mostly in heart.” Dolores was kind, loving, had a great love of movies and enjoyed Major McKinney’s.
Dolores was the loving mother of Richard J. Distler and Amy C. (Ron) Richards; mother-in-law of Anita M. (nee Fatica) Distler; cherished grandmother of Jake (Lauren), John (Kelly), Ronnie, Catie, Ashley (Paul), Rachael, and Lindsey; great-grandmother of Jasmine, Landon, Owen, Sofia, Chandler and Levi; sister-in-law of Peggy Ciborek; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert W. Distler in 2005; son, Robert E. Distler; infant granddaughter, Meghan Distler; parents, Peter and Catherine (nee Plona) Ciborek; and siblings, Edward Ciborek, Irene (Joe, dec.) Sankovich, Lenny Ciborek, and Jeannie (Pat, dec.) Ortuso.
A Celebration of Life for Dolores will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 25th, at her residence.
