Memorial Mass for Diane M. (nee Abramowski) Vargo, 76, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Diane passed away Dec. 8, 2022, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Aug. 15, 1946, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 50 years.
Diane loved her family very much and enjoyed traveling.
She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Andrew J. Vargo; loving mother of Andrea (Anthony) Lewis of Mentor, Dana Ortalani and Frank (Danielle) Ortalani; cherished grandmother of Mickey Quinn; dear cousin of Marlene Sotera and Joseph Talik; and the aunt of many.
Diane was preceded in death by her son, John Ortalani; and parents, John and Eleanor (nee Talik) Abramowski.
Burial will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family requests no flowers please.
