Obituary for David N Wolf
David N. Wolf, 73, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at his residence.
Born Jan. 19, 1948, in Erie, Pa., he had lived in Mentor-on-the-Lake before moving to Mentor 36 years ago.
David enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He also loved spending time in West Virginia and was known for telling great stories.
Mr. Wolf worked at Picker X-Ray, and retired from Lincoln Electric with 35 years of service.
He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Susan C. (nee Sturm) Wolf; loving dad of David J. (Kelly) Wolf and Tracy A. Quinones; cherished papa of Isabel Quinones; dear brother of John Wolf, Roseanne (Don) Babcock, and Douglas (Qi) Wolf; son-in-law of Doris Sturm; brother-in-law of Kathy (Frank) Fatica, Richard (Teresa) Sturm, and Becky (Rick) Johnson; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn (nee Ferris) Fulkrod; brothers, Nathan Wolf and Terrance Wolf; father-in-law, Dick Sturm; and niece, Sarah Fatica.
Family will receive friends for a memorial visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a tree in his memory.
