Obituary for Daniel Eric McPeek
Daniel Eric McPeek, 67, of Olmsted Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights.
Born April 25, 1955, in Euclid, he had lived in Lake County for four years, but lived the majority of life in Cuyahoga County.
Daniel was a retired Mentor Police Sergeant, a member of SWAT and was a firearms instructor. He had also been active for many years in Euclid Softball.
He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Joanne (nee Beni) McPeek; loving father of Mandy (Sean) McCullough and Shannon (Britt Korth) McPeek-Korth; cherished grandfather of Delaney, Riley, Kenzie, Beni and Frankie; and uncle of many.
Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa; parents, Ernest and Mildred (nee Schiltz) McPeek; and siblings, Ernest, Karen, Thomas and William.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
