Obituary for Craig G Benzin
Craig G. Benzin, 74, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
He was born Feb. 23, 1946, in Cleveland.
Craig was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a past member of Demolay, Past President of Alpha Sigma Phi of Findley College and enjoyed fishing. But his best time was hanging out with the guys at Royal Havanna Cigars.
He was the loving brother of Joyce L. Benzin; and cousin of Donald (Clara) Schofield and Glen (Judy) Schofield.
Craig was preceded in death by his beloved parents, George and L. Avenell (nee Mould) Benzin.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Acacia Masonic Memorial Park Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
