Obituary for Colleen M Peterson
Colleen M. (nee Smith) Peterson, 61, of Willoughby, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at her residence.
Born June 13, 1959, in Euclid, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Wickliffe before moving to Willoughby.
Colleen was a member of Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300, and served as a very caring caregiver. She liked to travel and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.
She was the loving mother of Daniel P. Eggett and Courtney A. Peterson; dear sister of Sharon L. (Raymond) Rusnak; aunt of Kelly (Vinko) Paulic, Jody (Paul) Kiebler, Justine Hahl, and Walter Witzke Jr,; and former wife of Christopher S. Peterson.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Violet P. (nee Sukalski) Smith; and brothers, Robert J. Smith and William A. Smith.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 5 p.m. Pastor Larry Pozza will officiate. Burial will be private.
