Obituary for Cheryl Lynn Donikowski
Cheryl Lynn (nee Miller) Donikowski, 52, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born May 17, 1968, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County and Concord Township for many years.
Cheryl was a registered nurse for nearly 30 years. She was honored with many awards for nursing. Cheryl was an avid reader. She loved the sunshine and being outdoors. She loved her family and was so proud to be a loving, fun and playful great-aunt.
She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Robert W. Donikowski; loving mother of Josh R. (Caroline) Donikowski and Chelsea L. Donikowski; daughter of Jean Kandus (step-father, Michael Kandus dec.); sister of Laura Wohl; daughter-in-law of William J. Donikowski and Harriett Gournic; sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of many.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that all donations in memory of Cheryl be made to Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers in Mentor, OH.
