Obituary for Charles S Foss
Charles S. Foss, 85, of Mentor, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 29, 1936, in Euclid, he had been a resident of Lake County for 53 years.
Charles was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a kind and good friend of many and had a great sense of humor.
He was the loving father of Charles J. (Suzanne) Foss of Maple Heights and Kelli L. Foss of Fairview Park; cherished grandfather of Alison (Brad) Mix; great-grandfather of Owen and Abigail; brother-in-law of Patty Scharf, Carmen Laurich and Kathy Hryb; and uncle of many.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eileen M. (nee Laurich) Foss; and parents, Charles and Leah (nee Collins) Foss.
A Celebration of Life for Charles will be held at a later date.
