Obituary for Casimir John Jablonski

Casimir John Jablonski, 96, of Willowick, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Dec. 23, 1924, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 60 years ago.
Casimir was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and lure maker, as well as an innovative craftsman. His many hobbies included bowling, playing pool and gardening.
He was the beloved husband of Bernadine B. (nee Zbiegien) Jablonski; loving father of Christine Gattozzi, Maribeth (Al) Grablovic and Paul (Karen) Jablonski; cherished grandfather of Robyn Gattozzi, Alan Grablovic, Bryan Gattozzi, Rachel Brookman, Lucas Jablonski, Elizabeth Jablonski and Shane Jablonski; great-grandfather eight; brother of Dolores Bastulli; and uncle of many.
Casimir was preceded in death by his parents, Jozef and Antonina (nee Zurkowski) Jablonski; and siblings, Helen Jablonski, Regina Gorencic, Ann Gratz and Wanda Neiger.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western of Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
