Obituary for Bonnie L Averitt
Bonnie L. (nee Miller) Averitt, 71, of Wickliffe, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Aug. 30, 1949, in Geneva, she had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County more than 20 years ago.
Bonnie was very active in Bethel Bible Church in Kirtland, liked to sew and loved the Cleveland Indians. She also enjoyed working in her garden.
Mrs. Averitt had retired from Key Bank, where she worked in customer service.
Bonnie was the beloved wife of Charles T. Averitt; loving mother of John M. Burke, Charles T. Averitt III, Christina Averitt, Charity Averitt, Rachel Averitt and Tommy Averitt; mother-in-law of Nancy Burke; cherished grandmother of 9; and sister of Donna (Harry) Chapin.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason T. Burke; and parents, Elmer and Mae (nee Shank) Miller.
Private family services will be held.
