Arnold Michael Anderson, 84, of Lakewood, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Continuing Healthcare in Mentor.
He was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Cleveland.
Arnold was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Lakewood and a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, power walker and enjoyed traveling to national parks, photography, bird watching and playing softball with family and friends. Arnold was also a Pro-Life advocate and was very active in the Right to Life marches.
Mr. Anderson was a retired salesman from Liturgical Publications.
He was the father of Laura Anderson and Scott Anderson; brother of Gail A. (James) Cahill; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Walter I. and Coletta M. (nee Ahrens) Anderson; and sisters, Arlene A. Graziano and Henrietta G. (Bruce, dec.) Deuble.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services had been postponed.
A Funeral Mass will now be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. John Vianney Churcy, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Interment will follow at 12:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Seville.
