Arlene E. (nee Dunsky) Jesberger, 83, of Mentor, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Sept. 20, 1937, in Reading, Pa., she had lived in South Euclid for 47 years before moving to Lake County three years ago.
Arlene had worked in the restaurant business, formerly at Rondini’s, Roman Gardens, Paglio’s and Finamore’s for many years. She also operated her own floral business, known as “Edelweiss,” for a while. Arlene loved antiques and Cleveland Browns football.
She was the loving mother of Alan (Sue) Bush, Mark Jesberger (Debbie Martin), Kim (Pat) Bruckman, Kelly (Perry) Mastrocola and Patrick (Jennifer) Jesberger; cherished grandmother of Brian (Candace) Bush, Lt. Col. Kyle (Angela) Bush, U.S.M.C., Dannielle Embry, Jaclyn (Nathan) Conrad, Joseph (fiancée, Ashley) Jesberger, Nicholas (Brittney) Wise, Vincent Mastrocola, Gabriel Mastrocola, Kayla Jesberger and Kristen Jesberger; great-grandmother of Hailey Bush, Jack Bush, Robert Bush, John Bush, Karter Embry, Ryan Lewis, Jackson Conrad, Adrian Sgro, Reece Sgro, Olivia Jesberger, Noah Wise and Callum Wise; and sister of Elizabeth McCrudden. She also leaves former daughter-in-law, Marian Werfel.
Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles E. Jesberger in 2020; parents, Max and Nellie (nee Fry) Dunsky; and siblings, Anna Dunsky, Elsie Hafer, Maxine Ingram, Jean Ash, and Richard Dunsky; daughter-in-law, Joan (nee Ward) Bush; son-in-law, Timothy R. Wise; and grandson, Daniel T. Wise.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
