Obituary for Antoinette Louise "Toni" Caito-McGlaughlin
Antoinette Louise (nee Fowler) Caito-McGlaughlin, age 50, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at her home in Willoughby.
She was born June 4, 1970, in Madison, to Doug Fowler and Marilyn Fowler.
Toni was a 1988 graduate of Madison High School. She had a lifelong career in the restaurant industry, most recently as the general manager of The Lakeshore Eatery. Making customers happy in this setting was her forte, especially since she had such a love for food and was an avid cook. Toni, as most would call her, truly lived her life through simple pleasures; working at the restaurant, cooking, singing (even if she didn’t know the words), loving her many animals, but nothing was more important to her than her three children, who she lived for and were her world.
She is survived by her husband, John McGlaughlin; children, Brandon Cell, Gabrielle Caito, Cameron Caito; stepchildren, Kate McGlaughlin-Rushman, Marley McGlaughlin, and Sara McGlaughlin; siblings, Wendy Schmitt, Douglas Fowler, Michelle Marcsik, Kyle Bowers, Katelyn Bowers, Alex Bowers, and Gia Fowler; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ashlee Bowers.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Toni touched are invited to a Celebration of Life from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at Lake Erie Bluffs, 3301 Lane Road, Perry, to reminisce about a special woman, Toni. *Masks are required.
