Obituary for Angela Marie Lundi
Funeral Mass for Angela Marie Lundi, 53, of Mentor, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at St. Mary’s Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. (Mass will be streamed via Facebook Live on the St. Mary's Church Facebook page.)
Angela passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her mother’s residence in Leroy.
Born Nov. 5, 1968, in Ravenna, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living the majority of her life in Mentor.
Family was always most important to her. She loved her “grandbabies” and was affectionately known as a “helicopter Mom.” Angela enjoyed crafting, was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, was a successful business woman, put others before herself, and she illuminated a room with her infectious smile.
Angela was the loving mother of Amanda Marie (Sean) Kelleher; cherished “Grandma Big” of Jaxon and Kash; beloved daughter of Michele Ustar; dear sister of Michael Dennis Sherman, Steven (Dawn) Sherman, Sandra (Denny) Cox, Michelle (Jim) Hall and Vicki (John) Jacob; aunt of Michael (Brandi) Sherman, Matthew Sherman and many additional nieces and nephews; loving partner of Scott Scholpp; and lifelong friend and business partner of Steven Schumacher.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Sherman; and stepfather, Maynard Ustar.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. A celebration of Angela’s life with refreshments will follow the burial at V.F.W. Post 6519, 752 Water St., Chardon.
