Obituary for Andrew S Hamko

Andrew S. Hamko, 82, of Willoughby, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at his residence.
Born March 5, 1939, in Bridgeville, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for more than 50 years.
Andrew was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of Palmer-Roberts American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby, and member of the V.F.W. He was also a lifetime member of the N.R.A. (National Rifle Association), enjoyed traveling and was an animal lover.
Andrew was the beloved husband of Elaine P. (nee Pine) Hamko; stepfather of Kim Cook, Kevin Amundsen and Kelly Amundsen; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marguerite Springer Hamko; parents, Steven and Julianna (nee Gordash) Hamko; and siblings, Margaret (Robert) Keenan, Joseph Hamko, Mary (Greg) Rosati, John (Mary) Hamko, and Violet (Joseph) Bruno.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow the service Monday at Shadyside Cemetery in Auburn Township.
