Obituary for Thomas Edward Harrold
Thomas Edward Harrold, 81, of Willoughby Hills, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, with his loving daughters by his side.
Born Oct. 12, 1940, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 56 years, living in Mentor before moving to Willoughby Hills.
Tom was a member of Irish American Club East Side Inc., a car enthusiast and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. Tom loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and coaching girl’s softball teams. He was a true pioneer farmer at heart, who loved riding tractors and raised chickens, horses, goats, cats and dogs.
Mr. Harrold had worked as an independent Orlando Bread Distributor for 36 years.
Tom was the loving father of Barbara A. (Mark) Schick, Debra A. (Beth) Scebbi, Brenda L. (Larry) Laurenty, Jenny L. (Bob) Bayer and Shawn M. Harrold; cherished grandfather of Shannon (Shawn) Fallon, Dan (Kayla) Schick, Casey Schick, Mandy (Ryan) Carmona, Darrian Scebbi, Izebel Scebbi, Chelsie (Dalton) DeWitt, Bobby Bayer, Jenna Bayer, Ashley Bayer, Kyan Harrold, Brecklin Harrold; great-grandfather of Hailey Fallon, Natalie Fallon, Brady Carmona, Madison Carmona Parker Carmona, Daegan DeWitt and Brogan DeWitt; dear brother of Robert J. (Mary Ellen) Harrold and Kathleen Ann (Richard) Rogaliner; and uncle of several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert J. “Bobby” Harrold; and parents, Edward Thomas and Naomi Eleanor (nee Groh) Harrold.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m.
