Obituary for Theresa M Dawson
Theresa M. (nee Rizzo) Dawson, 88, of Eastlake, passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born April 19, 1935, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 60 years, living in Willoughby before moving to Eastlake.
She enjoyed classic cars and going to car shows.
Theresa was the loving mother of David E. (Sharon) Dawson, Theresa Ann Dawson and Gary (Marlene) Barucky; cherished grandmother of Kelly, Christine, Josh and Hannah; dear sister of Marie Robinson; sister-in-law of Burt Krum; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel J. Dawson in 1973; parents, Alfonso and Dolores (nee Kannenberg) Rizzo; and sisters, Marie (John, dec.) Robinson and Roseanne Krum.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow the service at Willoughby Cemetery.
