Obituary for Susan C Taylor
Susan Gale Taylor 76, of Mentor, passed away March 22, 2023, in Thompson.
Born Sept. 26, 1946, in Cleveland, she had lived in Bradenton, Fla., before moving to Lake County nine years ago.
Susan had received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, Master of Nursing from Case Western Reserve University and a Master in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. She had worked as an emergency room nurse Her hobbies included volunteering at church, interior design, thrifting, antiquing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her dog, Lucy, a German Short-Haired Pointer.
She was the loving mother of Amelia L. Taylor of St. Paul, Minn., and Robert C. Taylor of Mentor; cherished grandmother of Lola R. Taylor of Painesville and Jackson J. Taylor of Painesville; and dear sister of Jack D. (Pamela) Polcar of Chagrin Falls and Janis L. (Allan) Seitz of Willoughby.
Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Polcar; and parents, Jack and Norma Polcar.
Per Susan’s wishes, there will be no services.
