Obituary for Simone Marjorie Perry-Luciano

Simone Marjorie Perry-Luciano, 30, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 27, 1991, in Cleveland.
Simone was a shining star, always positive and bright. After receiving her diagnosis, she continued to fulfill her dreams one at a time, even obtaining her Master's Degree in Art Education from Case Western Reserve University.
Simone’s passion for art, music, friends, and family was immeasurable. She was elated to become the studio assistant for artist, Lauren Pearce, and was a substitute art teacher at her alma mater, Euclid High School. She loved her fur babies: dogs, Odin and Yuna, and cats, Dr. Girlfriend (aka small cat), Mr. Rhodes and Stache and they will miss her warm snuggles and tender kisses.
She was the beloved wife of three years to Michael B. Luciano; dear daughter of Tina Marie (Edgar) Hilliard; loving sister of Leigh A. (Brian) Perrino; daughter-in-law of Jackie D. (Kurt) Stevens and Miguel A. Luciano; sister-in-law of Ashley A. (Scott) Bennie; granddaughter of Marlene Perry; and proud aunt of Avie and Camron Husby, Charlotte, Lucy and Eloise Perrino, Teya and Tatyana LeBlanc-Hill, Alex and Amelia Quigley, Cameron and Jordan Bennie and Autumn Carter. She also leaves her “bonus sister,” Amber Quigley, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless cherished friends.
Simone was preceded in death by her father, Oliver M. Perry; sister, Jamie L. Husby; and aunt, Elena Williams.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
