Obituary for Shirley M Markley

Shirley M. (nee Herbert) Markley, 85, of Eastlake, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at Andover Skilled Care Center.
Born Nov. 20, 1935, in Sewickley Township, Pa., she had been a resident of Lake County for 57 years.
Shirley was a member of the Eastlake Senior Center and loved her family, especially spending time with her grandkids.
She was the loving mother of Edward (Janey) Markley, Cheryl (Tim) Evanko, Donald (Karen Sheppard) Markley, and Ronald (Donna) Markley; mother-in-law of Christina Markley; cherished grandmother of Tracy, Theresa, Rachel, Eddie, Julie, Timmy, Tony, Amy, Renee, Jessica, Nick and Melissa; great-grandmother of Charlie, Tré, Lilly, Devin, Ryan, Leah, Allie, Parker, Jameson, Lyla, Troy, Gavin, Owen, Grace and Cooper; dear sister-in-law of Genevieve Herbert; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William D. Markley in 1990; sons, William Markley Jr. and Timothy Markley; grandson, Billy; parents, James R. and Marie M. (nee Goodwill) Herbert; and siblings, Robert (Marge), Dorsey, Norman (Esther), Warren, and Phyllis (Charles).
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
