Obituary for Sandra Ann Nemeth
Sandra Ann (nee McConnaughy) Nemeth, 62, of Mentor, passed away peacefully at sunrise on Monday, June 13, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her daughters and family as her adored lilies bloomed beautifully in the garden.
Born May, 2, 1960, in Cleveland, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
She enjoyed gardening, home improvement projects and spending time with her grandchildren, who she cherished above all else. She will be dearly missed.
Sandra was the loving mother of Allison J. (Shawn) Flagg-Sullivan, Erin E. Flagg (Jason Gravens), April L. Flagg and Natalie J. DiNero (Brandon Solly); cherished grandmother of Avalon, Kieran, Miriam Rose, Francis, Kyndra, Lanae, Colin, Jacob, Alahna, Emmit, Shayne, Lily, Kiera, and her baby grandson-on-the-way, Jack; dear sister of Charles “Wayne” (Cynthia) McConnaughy, Patrick McConnaughy and Matthew McConnaughy; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sweet dog, Ziggy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jean (nee Crow) McConnaughy.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north or Route 2), in Mentor, where a funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow the service at Mentor Cemetery.
