Memorial Mass for Salvatore C. “Sam” Messina, 70, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, in Highland Heights.
Born May 10, 1952, in Cleveland, Sam passed away May 18, 2022, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
A devoted husband, uncle, friend to many, business owner and lifelong bass guitarist, Sam was also very active in the Sicilian-American community.
Sam was the beloved husband of nearly 38 years to Maryann (nee Ranally) Messina; dear brother of Lorraine (Ted) Wodoslawsky and Russell (Lori) Messina; and beloved uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam J. and Dorothy Messina.
In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to St. Paschal Baylon Church.
