Obituary for Ronald James Ricciardo

Ronald James Ricciardo, 63, of Painesville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at his residence.
Born Jan. 25, 1957, in Euclid, he had been a lifelong Lake County resident.
He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed all types of music. Ron was more than a music lover. Music was his passion. He was an expert on several bands and everything involving music. Our hearts are broken, and we will miss being with him to cheer his favorite sport teams and learn something new about our favorite bands. Ron couldn't be happier than when he was inducted as a honorary member of the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame.
As a seasoned Information Technology professional, Ron was a significant contributor in establishing the technology infrastructure for the Cleveland Science Center and Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame. Ron was always happy and available to help us with our computer and technology problems. He was our personal, “Help Desk.”
Ron loved to travel. He visited every state in the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. Ron was such a wonderful, sweet, and caring person. “He always supported his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.”
He was the loving father of Bryan M. (Kimberly) Ricciardo; brother of Theresa M. (James) Silva, Halle L. Ricciardo Jr., and Randall L. (Pamela) Ricciardo; and uncle of Marisa Silva and Justin Silva.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Halle L. Sr. and Norma (nee Bishop) Ricciardo.
Private family services were held.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
