Obituary for Robert J Brooks
Robert J. Brooks, 64, of Willowick, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, at UH Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
He was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Cleveland.
Robert was a former member of the Lake County Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was the loving father of Robert J. Brooks and Jennifer M. (Jesse) Mausolf; cherished grandfather of Mackenzie and Vincent Mausolf; dear brother of Richard C. (Brenda) Brooks Jr., Leslie J. Brooks and Kimberly R. (C.J.) Land; uncle of many; and best buddy of Darl W. Sutton and Alex Salsgiver.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol (nee Voelker) Brooks; and parents, Richard C. and Jean (nee Diplo) Brooks.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
