Obituary for Rita Marie Stanovic
Rita Marie (nee Segler) Stanovic, 65, of Eastlake, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 26, 1956, in Duluth, Minn., she had been a resident of Lake County for 40 years.
Rita loved watching Sci-Fi and the Hallmark Channel. She was a shop-a-holic, enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was the beloved wife of 18 years to Ronald B. Stanovic; loving mother of Glen A. Schnars II, Matthew T. Stanovic and Grace N. (Michael) Huebner; cherished grandmother of Skyy, Samara, Zachary and Lucian; daughter of Evelyn (nee Heath) Mickle; sister of Joyce Hepler, Linda Segler, Lloyd Segler, Shane (Renee) Segler and Jeannine Segler; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by her father, Carl Mickle.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 6 p.m.
