Obituary for Richard Stephen Novak
Richard Stephen Novak, 74, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born May 14, 1948, in Cleveland, he had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County 22 years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Richard was the beloved husband of Dianna L. (nee Sexton) Novak; loving father of Daniel (Melissa) Novak, Emily (Jason) Anderson, Victoria (Joseph Myers), and Joseph (Holly) Novak; cherished grandfather of 14; and great-grandfather of one.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen J. and Anna (nee Vieard) Novak; and brother, Robert L. Novak.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
