Richard B. Bell
Funeral Mass for Richard Bartalott Bell, age 72, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor.
Mr. Bell passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Lakewest Medical Center.
He was born December 5, 1949, in Cleveland.
Richard worked for Dick’s Sporting Goods for 17 years. He was an active member of St. John Vianney Parish in Mentor especially with the St. Vincent DePaul group. He was a vintage motorcycle enthusiast. He was an accountant for TRW for 16 years. Richard was a lover of music and he was a big Cleveland Indians/Guardians Supporter. Most importantly he was a huge Golden Retriever lover where he has rescued over 22 goldens.
He was the loving father of Bradley C. (Patricia) Bell of Seven Field, PA, and Courtney E. Bell of Mooresville, NC; cherished grandfather of Olivia and Wesley; he leaves behind many relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita Ann (nee Latona) Bell, and his parents, Jack and Wilda Bell.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at The McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor, Ohio. Burial will be private.
