Obituary for Rebecca A Jarrells
Rebecca A. (née Bowers) Jarrells, 74, of Mentor, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, ay TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born June 25, 1947, in Sandusky, she had been a resident of Lake County for 16 years.
Becky was a devote Christian and a loyal Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She loved watching her “boys” play. She also loved the water and perch fishing on Lake Erie when she was younger, and more recently, taking trips with Joe to Chautauqua Lake with their dog, Ollie. Her greatest joy was her family. Becky showered her kids and grandkids with love and affection. She was proud of them and she made sure everyone knew it, even total strangers. Becky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was the beloved wife of 27 years to Joseph K. Jarrells; loving mother of Tashia (née Skidmore) (Sean) Davis of Heath, Terra M (née Skidmore) Todd of Willoughby, David (Patsy) Skidmore of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., and Nicholas (Teresa) Skidmore of Lititz, Pa.; cherished grandmother of Ryan and Kelsie Rader, Marlie Todd, Trey Skidmore, Emily and Nathan Skidmore; great-grandmother of Eli and Talia (Rader) Staffan; and dear sister of Deborah (Jerry) Bolan of Oakland, Tenn.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Donna (née Ranft) Bowers.
No funeral or memorial services are immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
